The twelve questions you will be asked
The communicator · What’s advancing · F5
The question session rehearsed before it happens, including the one you were hoping nobody would ask.
Why this matters for your role
The communicator’s skill: help someone examine an AI answer, surface missing context and bring better questions to their clinician.
Your worked example
A fictional person says: “An AI answer sounds certain, but it has not seen my full history. What should I ask my doctor?” No patient information or medical recommendation is supplied.
Put it into practice
Draft a respectful conversation opener and three questions about the source, missing context and uncertainty. Explain why identifiable health information needs appropriate privacy safeguards. Do not provide personalised medical advice.

War-game the question session after my talk. This is a practice exercise on my own work. What I am presenting: [PASTE YOUR ABSTRACT OR A 10-LINE SUMMARY] Audience: [WHO IS IN THE ROOM] Produce twelve questions I will actually be asked, grouped as: - Four friendly questions from someone who wants to understand. - Four methodological questions from someone who is unconvinced. - Three hostile questions from someone with a competing position. - One question from a senior person that is really about their own work. For each: write the question in the voice it will be asked, the answer in under forty spoken words, and the trap in answering it badly. Then tell me the one question I most need a prepared answer for, and what I must go and check before I stand up. End with a short section titled "Your check" listing what I must verify myself before using any of this.
Synthetic practice example. Run it as-is and check the output against the supplied facts.
Your check
Verify any fact you plan to say aloud. The model has predicted plausible questions; it has not predicted your room.
Your own work only. Do not paste unpublished data without checking who may retain it.
